Route 1
County Route 1 is an north–south route that runs through the towns of Alexander, Bethany and Batavia. For almost its entire length, CR 1 roughly parallels New York State Route 98 that runs west of CR 1. County Route 1 begins its south end at NY 98 in the town of Alexander. At 0.71 miles CR 1 (named Stroh Road) intersects Spring Road. CR 1 continues north from here as Sandpit Road until reaching US 20 at 2.44 miles. CR 1 loses the name Sandpit and assumes Brookville Road north of that intersection, and the roadway winds northeast. In the hamlet of East Alexander, Genesee CR 1 intersects West Bethany Road. Here CR 1 turns north and again changes names; this time assuming the name Creek Road with which it keeps to its end. Now route 1 heads north into the Town of Batavia. At 9.98 miles, County Route 1 reaches the Batavia City Line where the county route designation ends.

Route 2
County Route 2 is an east–west route in the towns of Bethany, Pavilion, Stafford, and Le Roy. Named East Bethany-LeRoy Road, route 2 begins at NY 63 in the hamlet of East Bethany. From its west end, county Route 2 heads in a generally east then northeast direction intersecting local roadways. As it nears its end, Route 2 turns north at the Gilbert Street intersection, staying just outside of the Village of Le Roy. Genesee County Route 2 ends at NY 5 (W. Main St.) just west of the Le Roy Town and Village Line.
Route 3
County Route 3 is a north–south route in the towns of Pavilion and Le Roy named South Street Road. County Route 3 begins its south end at the Wyoming County Line, just over one-mile north of the roadways southern terminus at NY 63 in Wyoming County. Route 3 heads north, intersecting US Route 20 (Broadway) at 3.38 miles in the Town of Pavilion. The road continues north, intersecting local roads until it reaches the Le Roy Village Line, where the county route designation ends. The roadway itself continues another 0.63 miles north through the village as South Street and comes to an end at NY 5 (E. Main St.).

Route 4
County Route 4 is a general north–south route, however runs east–west towards its north end and then briefly runs backwards for a short distance. County Route 4 begins its southern end at US 20 (Broadway) in the Town of Darien named Harlow Road. The route heads due north, passing Darien Lakes State Park that lies on the roads east side. At 1.54 miles, Genesee County Route 21 (Sumner Rd.) is intersected, and Route 4's name is changed to Fargo Road as Route 4 continues north. At 3.71 miles, Genesee Street (NY 33) is intersected and Route 4 is briefly interrupted, as it continues north just west of here as Lake Road. The Lake Road designation continues with Route 4 north into the Town of Pembroke until New York State Route 5 is intersected at 7.35 miles. Route 4 continues north still, but now as Gabbey Road. At 8.13 miles, Genesee County Route 4 turns east at an intersection with Knapp and Marble Roads. County Route 4 turns northward, but again turns east at 9.74 miles at an intersection with Wyman Road. Wyman heads north and ends shortly at Akron Road (CR 11). Now Route 4 heads due east to an intersection with New York State Route 77 just south of Indian Falls at 10.5 miles. Route 4 loses the name Gabbey Road and assumes the name Indian Falls Road after this intersection. From here Route 4 heads east and dips southeast toward the New York State Thruway (I-90) and passes under it, and not long after comes to an end at NY 5 (Main Rd.) at 15.03 miles, just west of the hamlet of East Pembroke.

Route 5
County Route 5 is a north–south route located in the Towns of Alexander and Batavia. County Route 5 begins its south end at US Route 20 (Broadway) in Alexander and heads north as Gillate Road. At 1.29 miles, CR 5 turns east onto Walker Road for 0.78 miles, until it again turns, this time north onto Hickox Road at 2.04 miles. At 3.03 miles, CR 5 is intersected by CR 21 (Dodgeson Rd.), which briefly splits CR 5, but the route resumes 0.27 miles west of there as Halstead Road. County Route 5 continues heading north and into the Town of Batavia, where just shortly thereafter it intersects Brown Road at which CR 5 loses its current name and picks up the name Wilkinson Road. As CR 5 continues north, it intersects New York State Route 33 (Genesee St.) at 6.12 miles in the hamlet of West Batavia. After that intersection, Route 5 once again changes names as it heads north. It last designation is as Hartshorn Road for just over 1 mile, as CR 5 ends at New York State Route 5 in the Town of Batavia.

County Route 6 is a north to east route located in the Town of Bergen. CR 6 begins its north end at the Monroe County Line where Monroe CR 240 has its southern terminus. CR 6 heads south as West Sweden Road, intersects local roads and gently turns southeast before turning south again and reaching the intersection of Swamp Road at 3.23 miles. Here CR 6 turns east onto Swamp Road and continues on this routing for the rest of its length. When Route 6 reaches the Bergen Village Line, the County Route 6 designation ends. Swamp Road itself continues through its short length in the village until it ends at New York State Route 19 (N. Lake Ave.) within the village.

Route 7

County Route 7 is an east–west route located in the towns of Elba and Byron. Route 7 begins its west end in the Town of Elba at the Elba Village Line. Chapel Street begins at New York State Route 98 within the Village of Elba and heads 0.36 miles east to the village line where the roadway turns into Barrville Road, where the Genesee County Route 7 designation begins. CR 7 continues east-northeast through the Town of Elba, as Barrville Road, until it meets the eastern terminus of CR 12 (North Byron Rd.) at 2.5 miles where CR 7 turns east and assumes the name North Byron Road. Now Route 7 heads due east for the rest of its routing, intersecting county and local roadways until at 6.12 miles it ends at New York State Route 237 in the hamlet of Pumpkin Hill in the Town of Byron.

Route 8
County Route 8 is an east–west route named Randall Road that is located in the Towns of Stafford and Le Roy. Route 8 begins its west end at County Route 34 (Morganville Rd.) just north of the CR 34 and NY 237 intersection, near the hamlet of Morganville. CR 8 parallels NY 237 for a short distance to the north, until NY 237 is intersected at 0.43 miles. Past NY 237 (Byron-Holley Rd.), CR 8 continues heading east. County Route 8A, a spur of Route 8 to NY 237 is intersected at 0.6 miles. Thereafter, CR 8 intersects other county and local roadways until it reaches its eastern end at New York State Route 19 (Lake Rd.) in the Town of Le Roy.
